I came to Claremont in 1995, and am very happy to call this city my home town. And though I have traveled the world eating at some amazing restaurants, I didn’t want to overlook some of the goodness in own backyard. Claremont doesn’t have any Michelin star restaurants, or restaurants from any other prestigous lists, but there are some truly outstanding places to have great food and a great time. There are also some restaurants that are still in business and I can’t understand why. There are some restaurants that have opened in Claremont that I wish didn’t. But I have attempted to be comprehensive in this list and fair. I don’t go to all of these restaurants regularly, but my goal is to share something honest and useful about each one.
