This odd little intersection at the corner of philosophy and food can produce some topics I find interesting to think about and explore. Among these are health, aesthetics, ethics, history, culture, and even politics, but at the core of thinking about food is thinking about certain aspects of our humanity. If you’ve ever been put in a trance by tomato soup, or find yourself endlessly searching for just the right restaurant, thoughtful people will want to know why they do that, and if it’s a good thing that they do.
